born before our ears already developed. There is evidence that at least the last 3 months of pregnancy, the baby can perceive external noise (voices of parents, loud noises and music, among others). Once we are born our ears allow us to get to know the world and orient ourselves in it.
The magic of reading begins with this sense in the first few songs, the first stories. Somehow we started to "see with their ears." This is why storytelling becomes so important in education. The narration arouses curiosity and is delivering a greater understanding of the world and its realities.
